    Great List!

My wife and I enjoyed our 1984 Honeymoon at the Riverview Plaza as a gift from my employer, the Architect Dewey Crowder (who designed the hotel).

Our visit was special to me… not only because of the top quality facility and staff… but also because I was a part of it’s development, design and construction.

We’ve stayed at the Riverview Plaza several times since then for some of our anniversaries and after Halloween Parties at the hotel.

This year, we enjoyed our 25th Wedding Anniversary at the Battle House Hotel on Mother’s Day.

We were impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of the staff.

It seemed as though every time we turned a corner… there was a smiling and helpful staff member.

Several offered us private tours of the historic hotel after taking a photo of us on the lobby balcony.

If you’re interested… we have photos of our visit posted at http://twitpic.com/4xq1e

We plan to reserve brunch at the Trellis Room next year on Mother’s Day… to show our mothers how much we love them.

By the way… the Breakfast Steak and Eggs Benedict in the Trellis Room was fabulous!!!

We’ll have to check out some of the Bed & Breakfast establishments you’ve listed for one of our near future special occasions.

Since we have personally experienced visits at hotels #1 and #7 on your list… we highly recommend them to all of your readers!
